Can you name a more perfect theme for a surprise NYE engagement party?

While it never makes or breaks a good night, I always find a party is more memorable with bold decor. 

Let me do the tedious scouring of the internet for the perfect decor for this trendy theme

Intersperse these in your balloon arch or hang from your ceiling!
Cliche, but it's an an engagement party... unavoidable
I opted to hang these through door ways, alongside the decor to your right -->
We alternated these with the heart garland, particulalry through arches or doorways
It's not an engagement party without champagne! Sorry, I don't make the rules.Try building a tower as your centerpiece, shown below!

First things first…

I wanted people to be impressed walking in.

 

 I needed an eye-catching, but tasteful piece.

It's not Disco & Diamonds without Disco

I had 2 large disco balls as center-pieces and filled in spaces throughout the party with small & medium sized balls

These are so easy to re-use, and I genuinley keep a large one in my bathroom and a medium one on my bar cart to this day 

*These can be used as dessert toppers as well*

Signature Cocktail Anyone?

I’m obsessed with a signature drink, not a secret. 

While I wish I was a naming connoisseur, I am not. 

But this name came pretty easily as my sister and her fiance have been together since highschool… 

Drum roll please….

“The High School Sweetheart” 

I warned you I’m not a naming connoisseur 

We made a raspberry elderflower gin fizz - highly recommend!

Not a want but a need (It does NOT alter the taste!)

When it came to signage, I loved the custom retro one I found on etsy below. However, i thought it wasn't going to come in time so I ended up ALSO ordering the template.

I love this template because you will use it forever. It has hundreds of drink options and add ons

Now I thought it would be fun for my sister to have no idea about the theme, so I bought her an outfit. I thought it was a fun touch and hopefully made her feel really special! One fun part of this was the silver cowboy hat as after everyone has had a couple drinks, the hat seems to make its way around the group. I also find this happens with sunglasses - I’ve added some fun options.

I will always opt for a balloons arch  → so easy to put together (but yes time consuming!)

Do me a favor and PLEASE get a balloon pump!!!
Balloons to incorporate throughout and hang the engaged balloons through the center!
